 4.  INDOLENT-  Lazy; averse to work 
 5.  DOLEFUL-  Sad; mournful 
 6.  DOLOROUS-  Mournful; gloomy 
 7.  ACERBIC-  Harsh and biting in tone 
 8.  ACRID-  Stinging or biting in odor or taste 
 9.  ACRIMONIOUS-  Exhibiting harsh sharpness in speech or mood

 8.  RATIONALE-  A reason for doing something; explanation 
 9.  RATIONALIZE-  Justify; give reason for
10. CONSCIENTIOUS-  Diligent and careful
11. UNCONSCIONABLE-  Not obeying moral laws; unscrupulous
12. PRESCIENT-  Showing knowledge of events before they happen

 8.  DEROGATORY-  Insulting; degrading
