2nd Period STD Assembly for Juniors 

11 CP: Begin reading chapter 13 in TSL
ERWC: View the "1984 and Today" presentations done by your classmates. Use the articles/information that they present as research for your essay. 

Wednesday, November 6
11 CP: Finish reading and discussing chapter 13. Pass out handouts on "What Life was like for Women in the 1800s" and "The Burqa." Discuss the topics in preparation for next Wednesday's Socratic Seminar (a handout will be provided).
ERWC: View the "1984 and Today" presentations done by your classmates. Use the articles/information that they present as research for your essay. ​

Thursday, November 7

11 CP: Continue the discussion concerning next Wednesday's Socratic Seminar. Study for tomorrow's Vocabulary 8 quiz.
ERWC: Finish viewing your classmate's "1984 and Today" presentations and continue working on your essay which is due on Tuesday. ​

Friday, November 8
11 CP: Take the Vocabulary 8 quiz and then complete next week's Vocabulary 9 worksheet.
ERWC: Work on your essay which is due on Tuesday. Turn it in to Google Classroom when finished.

ERWC: View the PowerPoint on Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 and watch the 20 minute video. Students who have not submitted their essays should work to finish it as it is due today.
