11 CP: Read the article "Remedial education costing community college students," and Katie Price's rebuttal to yesterday's article titled "Too many high school students opt out of challenging courses." Then discuss as a group why local graduates are not prepared for entry-level college courses. Discuss the General Ed. requirements for college, then begin the Prezi presentation titled "The Road Ahead."

~ Go to CAASPP.org ~ Select "Practice and Training Tests" ~ Select "Student Interface Practice and Training Tests" ~Leave "Guest User" and "Guest Session" checked (this is the default setting) and click the "Sign In" button ~"Is This You?" - Use the Grade drop down list to select "High School" ~ Click "Yes" ~ Choose the Practice or Training test desired ERWC: Continue working on the WNAHS |
