Lesson One
1. INVINCIBLE- Unable to be conquered
2. PROVINCIAL- Limited in knowledge of the world; narrow-minded
3. EVINCE- To establish; to reflect the truth of
4. CONDUCIVE- Supportive; encouraging; helping to bring about
5. INDUCE- To lead towards some action
6. DEDUCE- To draw a conclusion from fact; to infer
7. PROTRACTED- Extended in time; prolonged
8. INTRACTABLE- Stubborn; obstinate; hard to move forward
9. RETRACT- To draw back; withdraw
10. PETULANT- Irritable or short-tempered
11. IMPETUOUS- Acting passionately and without forethought
12. IMPETUS- That which drives one; momentum

1. FRACTIOUS- Tending to argue or cause discord
2. INFRACTION- Minor violation of a rule or law
3. INFRINGE- To intrude on an area belonging to another; to trespass
4. EXCISE- To cut out of; remove
5. INCISIVE- Sharply cutting; direct and powerful
6. CONCISE- Brief and straightforward
7. EPITOME- The best or most typical example
8. ANATOMY- The structure or parts, taken as a whole
9. TOME- A large and serious book
10. COMPUNCTION- Feeling of regret or remorse

11. DIAPHANOUS- Lightweight and transparent
12. EPIPHANY- A moment of great insight; revelation
